Most shipments are containerised with 2 standard options:
LCL - Less than Container Load
Like airfreight consolidation, consignments are consolidated with others in a container for delivery to the same destination port. Moving on a House Bill of Lading, the shipping price is proportionate to the space/weight taken in the container.
FCL - Full Container Load
The whole container is dedicated to the customer at an agreed fixed price lump sum. Therefore, the more the customer can load, the cheaper the shipping price per unit. The container moves under a Master Bill of Lading in the name of the Customer.
Out of gauge cargo can be shipped using specialised containers such as Open tops or Flat Racks. We also arrange ship charters for project cargo.
